We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef – Pastry to support our pastry operations and lead the team in delivering high-quality desserts and baked goods. This role is ideal for a skilled pastry professional with strong leadership abilities and a passion for creativity and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Pastry Chef in overseeing daily pastry kitchen operations

• Supervise and train pastry staff to ensure quality and efficiency

• Prepare, produce, and present pastries, desserts, and baked goods to standard

• Maintain consistency, portion control, and presentation quality

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

• Assist with inventory control, ordering, and minimizing waste

• Step in to lead the pastry department in the absence of the Pastry Chef

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or senior pastry role

• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert production

• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

• High attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
