The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, along with a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

As Chief Butler, you will be the custodian of personalised luxury, leading our Butler team to deliver anticipatory, discreet, and seamless service that reflects Rosewood’s ethos of Relationship Hospitality. This role requires not only operational excellence but also the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a team who will set a new benchmark for butler service in London.

You will be responsible for:

• Establishing and maintaining Forbes Five-Star and LQA standards across all butler touchpoints.

• Designing bespoke guest experiences that reflect our Sense of Place, creating moments that feel both intimate and extraordinary.

• Leading, training, and empowering a diverse team of Butlers, ensuring they deliver intuitive and genuine service with precision.

• Partnering with key departments to ensure flawless communication and guest journey execution.

• Serving as a visible ambassador of Rosewood’s values, with a commitment to discretion, empathy, and excellence.

About You

• Previous experience leading a Butler or Guest Services team in a luxury hospitality environment.

• Deep understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations, with strong cultural awareness and a natural sense of discretion.

• Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and retain top talent.

• Impeccable presentation, communication, and emotional intelligence.

• A visionary approach to guest experience, with a strong eye for detail and passion for innovation.
