Job Summary
The Golf Experience Manager is the senior leader and figurehead for golf at Rosewood Bermuda, responsible for defining, delivering and continuously elevating the golf experience for members, residents and resort guests.
This role extends well beyond traditional golf professional responsibilities. The Golf Experience Manager is expected to operate as a strategic leader, commercial driver and community-builder, shaping a golf programme that reflects the standards of a globally recognized five-star resort while remaining deeply rooted in the local membership culture.
The role requires a highly experienced professional with demonstrated success in building participation, growing revenues, curating outstanding tournaments and events, and positioning a golf offering on a world-class stage. The Golf Experience Manager will combine operational excellence with entrepreneurial thinking to expand the reach, relevance and reputation of golf at Rosewood Bermuda.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Golf Operations & Service Excellence
- Provide overall leadership of daily golf operations, ensuring seamless pace of play, exceptional member and guest service, and a consistently high-quality on-course experience.
- Oversee starters, outside services and golf operations teams, ensuring effective scheduling, training and performance management.
- Assist with Pro shop retail and management duties.
Member Engagement, Programming & Community Building
- Design, plan and deliver a comprehensive annual golf calendar including member tournaments, club championships, social events, junior programmes, clinics and camps.
- Create engaging, inclusive and professionally executed events that strengthen the member community and enhance retention.
- Develop junior golf pathways and youth programmes that reflect the resort’s commitment to family and legacy engagement.
Strategic Growth, Marketing & Revenue Generation
- Actively drive revenue growth across all golf-related streams, including green fees, tournaments, lessons, clinics, camps, retail and special programming.
- Develop and execute innovative golf programming and experiences designed to differentiate Rosewood Bermuda on a global stage.
- Partner with Membership, Sales and Marketing to promote golf offerings, signature events and destination experiences.
Retail, Instruction & Professional Services
- Assist in the oversight of golf shop merchandising, inventory management and retail presentation to maximize commercial performance and brand alignment along with the property retail lead.
- Provide high-quality instruction to members and guests, and oversee lesson, clinic and academy programmes.
- Ensure teaching programmes meet professional standards and contribute meaningfully to participation and revenue.
Leadership, Talent & Culture
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing golf operations team.
- Establish clear performance expectations, coaching and development pathways for golf team members.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, service excellence and pride within the golf operation.
Financial Management & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare and manage golf operational budgets, forecasts and expense controls in collaboration with Finance.
- Monitor key performance indicators including rounds played, revenue per available tee time, retail margins, lesson revenue and event performance.
- Use data and insight to inform pricing, scheduling and programme design decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Representation
- Work closely with Food & Beverage, Rooms, Membership, Events and Facilities to deliver integrated resort and club experiences.
- Represent the golf operation at internal leadership forums and external engagements as required.
Standard Responsibilities
- Comply with and adhere to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and Rosewood Bermuda company policies.
- Ensure that all Rosewood standards are communicated, implemented and consistently executed.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve guest and member service goals.
- Act as a brand ambassador at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are maintained.
- Model the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.
- Participate in community relations and local business initiatives that reinforce the resort’s reputation as a leading luxury destination in Bermuda.
- Take on other tasks in addition to the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.

Position Requirements, Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience within a high-end private club or luxury resort environment.
- Proven track record in developing and delivering high-quality tournaments, events and member programming.
- Demonstrated ability to grow participation, engagement and revenue through innovative golf programming.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience overseeing retail operations, instruction revenue and budget management.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing golf professionals and operations teams.
- Strong marketing and promotional mindset, with experience positioning golf offerings to both member and destination audiences.
- Confident communicator with strong presence and credibility across member, guest and stakeholder groups.
- Experience collaborating effectively with course superintendents, resort leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and extended hours in line with golf operations and event schedules.
