Position Overview
Rosewood Red Sea, part of the ultra-luxury Red Sea Global destination, is seeking a visionary Resort Manager to join our pre-opening leadership team. As the second-in-command, this role will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence across all departments. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, luxury hospitality expertise, and the ability to inspire and lead large, multicultural teams in alignment with Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the daily operations of all resort divisions, ensuring seamless guest service and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the Managing Director to develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue, profitability, and brand positioning.
- Champion Rosewood’s service philosophy by ensuring personalized, intuitive, and memorable guest experiences.
- Lead pre-opening activities including recruitment, training, operational planning, and systems implementation.
- Monitor and drive key financial performance indicators, including GOP, EBITDA, revenue generation, and expense management.
- Ensure strict compliance with local regulations, health & safety, and sustainability initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, owners, and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop department heads, creating a culture of succession planning, empowerment, and professional growth.
- Act as the property leader in the absence of the Managing Director.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality in Saudi Arabia, with at least 3–5 years in a senior operational leadership role (Hotel Manager, Resort Manager, or equivalent). This position is part of Saudization.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale luxury resorts or multi-outlet operations.
- Pre-opening experience in ultra-luxury or lifestyle brands strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven success in driving revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.
- Deep knowledge of global luxury hospitality trends, guest expectations, and brand positioning.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
