Rosewood Hotel Georgia, a Rosewood Hotel, is looking for a multi-talented and extraordinary Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager acts as the link between the hotel and its audience across all social media channels. This role serves as the voice and moderator of the brand through social media support, content distribution, and digital engagement to build brand presence and trust. This position is also responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies to promote growth and revenue generation as part of the hotel’s ongoing effort to deliver excellent guest service and financial profitability, in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth, both in rooms and across all outlets.
  • Daily management of social media channels developing strategic approaches for audience growth and engagement, crafting personalized responses, and positioning channels to deliver maximum impact of the brand’s overall story.
  • Create, edit, and publish impactful and compelling social media content daily that increases audience engagement.
  • Develop a content marketing plan and editorial calendar aligned with the hotel’s overall objectives.
  • Plan and oversee the creation of social content with photography and video partners, including the development of detailed reports and serving as a key collaborator during on-property execution.
  • Monitor and analyze web traffic using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay up to date with new social media tools, real-time updates, and best practices, identifying ways for the hotel to stay ahead of social media trends.
  • Analyze performance ROI and share key insights with the MarComm team on an ongoing basis to collaboratively create and execute successful social media initiatives.
  • Ensure all communication platforms adhere to Rosewood Brand Book guidelines and support the hotel’s marketing and communication objectives.
  • Responsible for reputation management, responding to Google Business reviews.
  • Manage content and updates on all third-party websites (TripAdvisor, Google Business, Yelp, etc.) for F&B outlets and the Spa.
  • As part of the hotel’s MarComm team, work closely with the DOSM to support the execution of sales and marketing strategies, including marketing communications, public relations, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Coordinate, with MarComm support, photography sessions for social media content as well as corporate-level photography.
  • Execute property-specific actions to support global RHR brand social media campaigns.
  • Professionally represent the hotel at community and industry organizations and events.
  • Contribute to annual marketing plans and the budgeting process, ensuring expenses remain within approved guidelines.
  • Maintain a respectful working relationship with colleagues on property and facilitate interdepartmental communication flow.
  • Maintain knowledge of all Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to support cross-marketing opportunities.
  • Prepare and present timely monthly reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Participate in scheduled sales and/or marketing meetings, training sessions, and other strategy-related meetings as required.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of guest and hotel and brand business information.

 

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, including websites, email, paid search, SEO, display advertising, mobile, and social media.
  • Knowledge of analytics and design platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe.
  • Excellent knowledge of Canva, Publisher, and similar tools.
  • Strong grammatical and editorial skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
  • Ability to set, monitor, and achieve goals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
  • Must possess computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Opera, Revintel, etc.

 

General Skills:

  • Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics, and multi-social publishing programs (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, HubSpot,Emplifi, etc.).
  • Strong copywriting skills for brochure text, direct email campaigns, sales promotional materials, and resort promotions/advertising.
  • Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Creativity.
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • Clear thinker who remains calm and solves problems using sound judgment.
  • Ability to work cohesively with coworkers as part of a team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest and client information and relevant hotel data.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to represent the hotel at all stakeholder levels.

  • Business acumen.
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Spanish is required.

 

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform various physical movements within work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times during work periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and communicate effectively with guests and coworkers for mutual understanding.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education in Hospitality Management or Marketing and progressive, related work experience.

 

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience — preferably in luxury brands.


Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.


The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay.
