THE TEAM

You will join a skilled and dedicated Engineering team responsible for the operational reliability, safety, and efficiency of all building systems at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. Working closely with the Duty Engineer and Engineering leadership, the team ensures that all facilities, equipment, and guest areas are maintained to the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

YOUR ROLE

As Engineering Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day coordination of preventive maintenance, guestroom and facility upkeep, and technical operations. You will supervise engineering associates, support training, respond to service requests, and act as Duty Engineer in their absence. Through strong leadership and technical expertise, you will help maintain the hotel’s engineering excellence and ensure a safe, seamless, and refined experience for guests and colleagues.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Supervise, train, and guide Engineering associates to ensure all tasks are completed to hotel standards.
• Support and execute preventive maintenance programs across guestrooms, public areas, HVAC, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Respond promptly to work orders, guest requests, and emergencies through the Knowcross system.
• Conduct building rounds, inspections, and logbook reviews to identify safety risks, equipment issues, and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate daily assignments, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient completion of engineering work.
• Assist in resolving guest complaints related to maintenance issues and ensure successful follow‑up.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You bring at least five years of experience in building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration—ideally in a luxury or ultra‑luxury hotel.
• You have strong technical knowledge across HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, and general facilities maintenance.
• You can lead, train, and motivate a team while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.
• You stay calm under pressure, exercise good judgment, and solve problems efficiently.
• You are organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to meeting safety, hygiene, and OSHAD standards.
• You communicate clearly in English and can work independently with minimal supervision.
