About the Role

Our Pastry Chef position is a hands-on position focused on the daily operations and production of a variety of pastry creations.  

Responsibilities include

• Optimise the cooking process with a focus on speed and quality
• Maintain exceptional hygiene practices
• Ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Pursue self-managed continued education

 About You

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and possess a positive can do attitude, along with:

• Experience leading staff
• Skills in baking breads and creating pastries from scratch (preferred)
• Exceptional cooking techniques and meticulous processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent high quality  
• Agility in responding to daily guest requests and menu changes
• Good time management, effective communication skills and the ability to multitask

This is a full-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week although you may be expected to work up to 60 hours per week during our peak periods.
