About Our Department/Team

The Front Desk Manager oversees all front desk operations in compliance with hotel standards, ensuring high-quality service and efficient management. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining guest satisfaction, and implementing service policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, room types, rates, promotions, and occupancy levels.

- Supervise daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions.

- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and supply levels in front desk areas.

- Train, schedule, and evaluate front desk staff performance.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies for cashiering, payments, and financial transactions.

- Address guest concerns, resolve complaints, and manage overbooking situations.

- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for room readiness and special requests.

- Handle VIP arrivals, special accommodations, and late check-out requests.

- Maintain security and guest confidentiality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and difficult guests.

- Technical proficiency in hotel management systems.

- College degree in hospitality management preferred.

- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in front desk operations, preferably in a luxury hotel.
