THE TEAM

You’ll be part of the Global IT Projects team, a forward-thinking group driving transformation across Rosewood Hotel Group. This team partners with corporate and hotel stakeholders to modernize project delivery through agile methodologies. Reporting to to Senior Project Manager, Information Technology, you’ll collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and business units to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.

YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Manager, IT Projects, Global, you’ll play a key role in leading and supporting global transformation projects using agile frameworks like Scrum. You’ll help shift the organization from traditional waterfall methods to agile ways of working, fostering continuous learning, faster feedback loops, and more adaptive planning. Your work will directly contribute to improving project efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and overall business value.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Guide project squads through agile principles and Scrum ceremonies, ensuring alignment and momentum.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Track project progress, risks, and issues, and coordinate timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and groom project backlogs in Jira, ensuring clarity and prioritization before each sprint.
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, enabling alignment and decision-making.
• Visualize workflows and user journeys using Microsoft Visio to enhance team understanding and feedback.
• Provide regular status and progress reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Support vendor and stakeholder management to ensure smooth project execution.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You have at least 3 years of experience in agile project implementation within a multinational corporate setting.
• You’re a strong communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders across regions and functions.
• You’re skilled in Jira and Microsoft Visio, and you use these tools to manage backlogs and visualize project flows.
• You bring solid project management experience, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and time management.
• You hold a university degree in project management or IT, and ideally a PMP or Agile/Scrum certification.
• You’re fluent in English and Mandarin, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.
• You’re passionate about agile transformation, and you inspire others to embrace change and deliver value.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, and you’re committed to driving impactful results.
