We are looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the culinary leadership team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality. This position requires strong technical skills, creativity, and a passion for excellence in food preparation and presentation.

Key expectations:

Assist the Culinary Leaders in managing daily kitchen operations across all outlets
Supervise and guide the teams to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards
Contribute to menu development, seasonal offerings, and innovative culinary concepts
Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste management to optimise profitability
Ensure timely preparation and plating of dishes in line with hotel standards
Support in associate training and development to uphold a culture of excellence
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Profile:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
Formal culinary qualification from a recognised institution
Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern cooking techniques
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
