 The Chancery Rosewood – opening Summer 2025, is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. We are looking for an Assistant Director of  Events & Groups to redefine how we host, blending precision, creativity, and seamless execution. Acting as the link between vision and reality, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership to create exceptional experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of social and corporate events with a prove track record of setting up the weddings department, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver seamless experiences.
• Drive revenue and maximise opportunities, working alongside Food & Beverage leaders to optimise sales, upsell experiences, and ensure profitability.
• Own client relationships from enquiry to execution, ensuring expectations are exceeded at every touchpoint.
• Manage the event pipeline, negotiating contracts, maintaining pricing integrity, and ensuring accurate records in event management systems.
• Collaborate across departments, ensuring operations run smoothly and every team is aligned on event details.

About You:

• Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end events, with a strong understanding of the London market.
• A natural leader who thrives on building relationships—with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
• Commercially savvy with an eye for opportunities to drive revenue and enhance experiences.
• Detail-oriented with impeccable organisational skills, ensuring no element is overlooked.
• Cool under pressure, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve in fast-moving environments.
