Our Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Housekeeping division.
Key Responsibilities:
- To organise and maintain a high degree of excellence / maintenance in guest rooms, suites, corridors, fire exits, stairways, service rooms and public areas of the hotel.
- Oversee smooth operations of the Housekeeping department, fostering strong internal and external communication.
- Ensure that all company brand standards have been implemented.
- Uphold the hotel’s reputation as an ultra luxury property by exceeding guest and management expectations.
- Work closely with other departments in a supportive and flexible manner to ensure overall hotel success.
- Contribute to the collective commitment of a unique guest experience, to create a sense of place.
- Handle guests' concerns and comments and find a proper resolution to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Identify training needs and conduct on-the-job training in coordination with relevant teams to enhance associate performance.
- Minimum five years’ experience in a similar capacity for a luxury or ultra- luxury hospitality is preferred.
- Fluency in German or English is preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team effectively.
- Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up abilities.
