Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Maintain an immaculate, flawlessly organized, and guest-ready pool and beach environment at all times, in alignment with Rosewood, Forbes Travel Guide, and LQA standards.
•Execute precise opening, daily upkeep, and closing procedures, ensuring all areas reflect a refined, residential luxury aesthetic.
•Set, refresh, and break down loungers, cabanas, and palapas with meticulous attention to symmetry, comfort, alignment, and visual perfection.
•Continuously patrol and refine all guest-facing areas, removing debris, resetting furniture, and ensuring an uninterrupted sense of calm and exclusivity.
•Maintain pristine towel presentation, ensuring constant availability of fresh stock and immediate removal of used linens.
•Provide a warm, discreet, and highly personalized welcome to every guest, anticipating needs before they are expressed.
•Escort guests to their preferred location, offering curated placement based on shade, privacy, proximity, and lifestyle preference.
•Provide and proactively replenish amenities including towels, chilled water, sunscreen, chilled face cloths, menus, and comfort items.
•Deliver service with emotional intelligence, discretion, and intuitive timing consistent with ultra-luxury hospitality expectations.
•Maintain strong guest recognition and preference awareness to enhance personalization and continuity of service.
•Uphold all pool and beach safety protocols, ensuring a secure yet unobtrusive guest environment.
•Monitor weather conditions continuously and execute all adverse weather procedures swiftly and calmly.
•Maintain full knowledge of First Aid equipment locations and procedures, responding immediately and correctly in any emergency situation.
•Prioritize guest safety at all times while preserving a relaxed and luxury atmosphere.
•Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food & beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations.
•Accurately enter orders into POS systems and ensure flawless communication with culinary and service teams.
•Deliver all food & beverage items with elegance, precision, and attention to visual presentation standards.
•Execute beach, and poolside dining experiences with discreet, synchronized timing and seamless service flow.
•Present checks professionally and ensure accurate billing and departure experience.
•Support revenue generation through thoughtful, non-intrusive upselling aligned with guest preferences.
•Maintain expert knowledge of all resort recreation and lifestyle offerings, confidently communicating experiences to guests.
•Assist in watersports operations when required, ensuring all areas are safe, organized, and fully guest-ready.
•Support the execution of special events, activations, and seasonal experiences with operational excellence and guest engagement.
•Maintain continuous cleanliness of all pool and beach areas, including removal of debris, towel recovery, and furniture resetting throughout the day.
•Monitor towel inventory proactively and coordinate with Laundry for seamless replenishment.
•Ensure all equipment, furniture, and guest amenities are in pristine condition and properly positioned at all times.
•Follow strict Lost & Found procedures, ensuring immediate and accurate logging of all items.
•Model exemplary appearance, etiquette, behavior, and guest interaction standards at all times.
•Foster a culture of inclusion, communication, and team cohesion through daily interaction and feedback loops.
•Engage in ongoing training, development, and performance improvement initiatives.
•Take ownership of guest satisfaction from arrival to departure, ensuring recovery of any service gaps with urgency and grace.
•Perform additional duties as required to support the seamless operation of the pool and beach experience.
•Consistently elevate the guest journey, recognizing the pool and beach as the resort’s most powerful expression of luxury and emotional connection.
Qualifications/Experience
•Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a luxury or ultra-luxury resort, or five-star beach club environment.
•Proven background in poolside, beach, recreation type service within a high-touch hospitality setting.
•Experience working in environments aligned with Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star standards and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) benchmarks strongly preferred.
•Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in maintaining pristine environmental standards.
•Familiarity with POS systems and basic F&B service procedures in a luxury setting.
•Experience: Two - Three years’ experience in hospitality industry in the specified role.
•Education: Must have completed secondary school education and preferably received a college education or taken applicable continuing education courses. Be able to demonstrate strong Mathematical and English language skills (spelling and grammar) and must be computer literate.
•General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. Must have good eye for detail and be accurate and thorough in one’s work with good follow up.
•Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
