OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE

We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact.

As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.

THE TEAM

The Talent and Culture team attracts, develops and rewards the most important asset of the company: our Associates. The global headquarter is in Hong Kong and we collaborate closely with brands around the world to bring to life the philosophy of relationship hospitality and pursue world-leading practices in people operations.

YOUR ROLE

As Director, Organizational Excellence and Strategic Projects, Global, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of strategy, organizational effectiveness and project leadership. You will act as a trusted thought partner to the Senior Vice President, Talent and Culture, Global, overseeing key strategic initiatives, shaping organization design, driving process improvement, and enabling impactful change across the global Talent and Culture function. You will steward major cross‑functional projects, translate data into insights, and support the execution of initiatives that strengthen enterprise capability and enhance associate experience.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Lead a portfolio of high‑impact, Talent and Culture‑sponsored strategic projects, including workforce transformation, HR operating model enhancement, productivity, capability development, and culture/ways‑of‑working initiatives.
  • Establish strong governance, creating project charters, plans, milestones, and success measures that ensure timely and outcome‑driven execution.
  • Lead end‑to‑end organizational design engagements—diagnosing issues, evaluating spans and layers, defining role clarity, decision rights, and operating model options.
  • Partner with HRBPs and senior leaders to translate business strategy into organizational structures and talent implications, including capability needs and critical roles.
  • Assess organizational health using diagnostics and translate insights into practical, experience‑improving interventions for employees and stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvement and simplification across Talent and Culture to enhance cycle time, service quality, and overall experience.
  • Design and execute change management strategies that enable strong adoption of new structures, processes, and ways of working.
  • Build trusted cross‑functional partnerships with Finance, Strategy, Operations, IT, and Communications to ensure initiatives align with enterprise priorities.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You bring meaningful experience in organizational design, ideally within a complex, global environment.
  • You have a strong foundation in project management and change, with a HR/Talent and Culture lens.
  • You have consulting‑oriented skills—problem structuring, storylining, and facilitation—and apply them with confidence.
  • You are highly analytical, comfortable working with workforce and workflow data, defining KPIs, and translating insights into action.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field with a Project Management certification preferred.
  • You thrive in diverse, global settings and bring cultural awareness, sensitivity, and a collaborative mindset.
  • You communicate with clarity and influence, tailoring your approach to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You model integrity, accountability, and commitment to the company’s purpose, culture, mission, and values.
  • You demonstrate adaptability, curiosity, and a proactive approach to improvement, always seeking opportunities to innovate and refine how work gets done

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
