The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry facility, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, fabric care, and presentation for guest garments, linen, and uniforms.

This role is instrumental in delivering a seamless and refined guest experience through precision, efficiency, and uncompromising quality. In a pre-opening environment, the position plays a key role in setting up systems, standards, and operational excellence within the laundry function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise day-to-day laundry operations, including washing, drying, pressing, and finishing processes. 
• Ensure all guest garments, linen, and uniforms are handled with the utmost care and returned in pristine condition. 
• Monitor workflow, productivity, and turnaround times to meet service standards. 
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Uniform Room to ensure timely availability of linen and uniforms. 
• Support the setup and commissioning of laundry equipment and facilities. 
• Assist in developing and implementing laundry SOPs, workflows, and quality standards aligned with Rosewood expectations. 
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of laundry associates. 
•  Conduct testing of equipment, chemicals, and processes to ensure optimal performance and fabric care.
• Maintain strict quality control over all laundry processes to meet ultra-luxury standards. 
• Inspect finished items for cleanliness, damage, and presentation before release. 
• Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics, designer garments, and specialty items. 
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards in all laundry operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or certification in Laundry Operations, Housekeeping, or Hospitality preferred. 
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in laundry operations within a luxury hotel or resort environment. 
• Previous supervisory experience is required. 
• Pre-opening experience is an advantage. 
• Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, fabric care, and chemical usage. 
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems. 
• Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage. 
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage. 
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
