Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Behavioral Expectations

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to ensure smooth and timely service execution.
  • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism, consistency, and high-performance standards at all times.
  • Anticipate guest needs and handle challenging situations diplomatically and confidently.
  • Positively influence colleagues to adopt new standards and operational changes effectively.
  • Maintain open communication with management, providing updates on service flow and concerns.
  • Uphold a high level of productivity, quality, and accountability.
  • Strictly adhere to company policies, including no alcohol consumption while on duty without approval.


Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain full knowledge of all departmental policies, Rosewood standards, LQA and Forbes service expectations.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, resolving complaints, and building strong guest relationships.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the daily transfer list from Virgin Gorda or Beef Island airport.
  • Provide assistance with billing such as posting invoices, make adjustments, or answer guest’s questions on their folio.
  • Post all fixe charges with accuracy.
  • Update estimated time of arrival and estimated time of departure in our PMS.
  • Answer guest’s phone call/text message according to our telephone etiquette, in timely manner.
  • Assist with airport greeter duties when needed.
  • Cover overnight front desk agent’s shift when needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Remain flexible to support different areas as operationally required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Education: Secondary school education required; hospitality or related studies preferred.
  • General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to suggestively sell available rooms; ability to input and access information into System; ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult guests; ability to perform job functions to standards under pressure; ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guests; ability to work without directs supervision.
  • Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
