Job Summary

Tasked to develop and implement content strategies in line with global content direction to drive brand awareness, audience engagement and editorial excellence across Rosewood Hotel Group’s brand touchpoints. Ensuring brand consistency – both visually and tone of voice – in storytelling through omni-channel content formats. The role will also be required to contribute and execute ideas for global brand content projects. 

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure the brand voice, visuals and messaging is consistent across global content and in accordance with our Brand Expression.
  • Guide and direct storytelling on the website and e-mails across global touchpoints, ensuring content is native to platforms with relevant messaging and narratives that express the brand vision. This includes content experiences that support global campaigns and partnerships. 
  • Plan, develop and maintain a global editorial content calendar for owned channels, ensuring alignment with overall content strategy and organizational goals
  • Strategically map out editorial content ideas, identifying themes, topics and opportunities to engage the target audience effectively.
  • As part of planning, determine assets required for content execution and ensure these assets are commissioned, created and deployed in the appropriate channels timely and effectively 
  • Copywriting, sub-editing and proofreading across global touchpoints and initiatives from brand campaigns and paid media to e-mail marketing and website.
  • Support pre-opening and operating properties with content planning and development in line with brand expression and channel objectives from owned to paid media.  
  • Contribute to building a network of creative collaborators including photographers, videographers and copywriters globally; briefing and commissioning freelancers and agencies for projects and campaigns when necessary. 
  • Work with the Web Analytics and Digital teams to pro-actively implement actionable insights for global website and e-mails to inform curation of content and evolve content strategies.
  • Assist with departmental budget management, including administrative tasks such as invoicing and contracts.
  • Support the training and education program for properties across Brand Content guidelines, best practices and processes.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales and marketing teams as an editorial partner in support of revenue driving collateral. 
  • Conceptualize and contribute story, talent and strategic ideas to global content projects and campaigns and support in execution when needed.
  • Contributes to ensuring that brand integrity and clarity is always maintained, assist in updating SOP’s, policies and guidelines.
  • Models the Company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times. High level of professionalism and knows how to manage confidential data and information at all times.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in content management, planning and production 
  • Must be a Native English speaker with strong copywriting and sub-editing skills
  • Excellent project management skills – must be extremely organized and able to work under pressure, adhere to budgets and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong storyteller, with a keen creative eye and digital-savvy 
  • Solution-focused, detail oriented individual with an entrepreneurial attitude 
  • Experience with luxury lifestyle brands preferred 
  • Proven track record of editorial calendar development and management 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or a related Creative discipline.   
  • Experience: Minimum six years experience in a corporate office in a similar role or project management position
