Rosewood Hotel Group is looking for a global brand communications lead to drive earned media for the organization. This role will work closely with senior global stakeholders to communicate Rosewood’s brand narrative and drive reputation management to be consistent with our brand philosophy and brand proposition. This role will also work closely with cross-functions and region/properties to ensure successful implementation of earned media strategies in line with global priorities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee earned media strategy to successfully implement core marketing programmes, property openings, and seasonal campaigns holistically
  • Drive communications strategies across topics that influence brand perception, from concept to execution of launches and programmes that deliver strong earned media value while maintaining brand proposition and positioning
  • Oversee the development of global communications briefs, asset checklists, go-to-market toolkits, regional guidelines, and playbooks
  • Manage press-related  asset creation and guidelines including event/FAM trip guidelines, press releases, spokespeople Q&As and opening coms playbook
  • Manage metrics platforms for annual tracking and reporting and event/programme specific reporting on KPI performance.
  • Collaborate with social and content teams to ensure synergy with talent and influencers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and region brand marketing & communications leads to ensure seamless integration of earned media strategies and initiatives
  • Manage designated internal global spokespeople’s PR opportunities (interview, appearances, speaking opps) across project assessment, negotiation, preparation  as required depending on programme
  • Be part of the core team across Rosewood global activations and key moments
  • Manage global communications budget and property matrix budgets. Administrative responsibilities across budget tracking, invoicing, contract processing and minor logistics (with support)
  • Manage global brand communications agency partners and work closely with property communications teams and their supporting PR agencies to ensure initiatives are aligned with global strategy
  • Be a guide across property / corporate marketing and brand functions on strategic communications positioning across cultural nuances, with deep know-how on media relations and brand advocacy.
  • Be a leader to continuously improve marketing and communications function across talent development, lean operations, effective processes, tools and techniques
  • Lead clear communications flow with internal stakeholders across corporate, region and properties with deep insights, sound judgement, industry know-how and a global view

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Communications, Influencer Marketing and Event experience
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong understanding of influencer landscape, especially in luxury sector.
  • High level of project management and cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to build relationships and trust across the organization.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of systems related to media, reputation management and influencer marketing analytics.
  • Detail and process-oriented, organized, self-starter and proactive.
  • Strong understanding and experience of social media across all platforms.
  • Ability to accommodate early morning or night calls with international markets; travel to markets.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills; proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel; can work on both MAC and PC.
  • Native / excellent in English language.
