Job Summary:

The Revenue Manager will execute Rooms Distribution strategy at the hotel level and ensure that individual hotel are aligning with Corporate/Local Distribution strategies and electronic channels Online Travel Agents (OTAs), B2B & B2C channels) are to maximized in terms of online revenue and profitability. This role will also provide local market insights and recommendations.

General Responsibilities:

- Assist in increasing traffic as well as improving conversion through direct and indirect online channels.

- Support Cluster Director of Revenue on campaign planning and ensure promotions/offers are implemented on timely and quality manner on designated channels.

- Building yearly plan for the hotel across OTAs.

- Collect market intelligence and provide updates, identify potential business opportunities to Cluster Director of Revenue.

- Hotel strategy contribution, working in close relation with key stakeholders from Marketing, PR and Sales.

- Evaluating the performance of OTAs and giving suggestions for how to promote and improve the presence of the hotels on the web, with the intention of increasing the number of bookings and keeping the website up to date.

- Monitor and assist in ensuring rate parity together with Cluster Director of Revenue and Corporate Distribution team throughout all distribution channels.

Detailed Tasks:

- Attend regular catch up with OTAs market managers for hotel business evaluations. At least once a month or bi-monthly.

- Account management covering B2B/B2C agents with direct connectivity, i.e., wholesale, OTAs.

- Monitor and evaluate hotel channels’ performance on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. 

- Ensure the properties content (photography & descriptions) in all online channels remain accurate and align with Rosewood brand standard.

- Conduct regular quality assurance audits (at least on a quarterly basis) on the hotels descriptive content & images to ensure parity on all channels and integrity with brand website.

- Load and update content (photography & descriptions) for the property on all online channels in consultation with the Cluster Director of Revenue.

- Identifying and evaluating new marketing opportunities to increase direct internet traffic and drive online production, i.e., OTAs special campaign, hotel featuring opportunities on OTAs such as KOL livestream selling. Optimize paid media marketing.

- Evaluate the online presence and rate position of our luxury competitors.

- Understand, review, and articulate day-to-day changes in available inventory and booking pace for the hotel using business intelligence reports (RevIntel, Opera, Delphi/Salesforce, IDEAS, OTA Insight, OTA Extranets) 

- Monitor rate parity across all distribution channels, including Online travel agencies (OTA), the brand website and various booking platforms.

- Work with hotel team to rate shop on channels with rate parity issues to find source of rate, in coordination with Sales team issue violation or termination letter.

- Maintain a list of partners that are violating the rate parity and constantly monitor online pricing.

- Assist Cluster Director of Revenue in hotel daily pickup report, weekly and monthly forecast, and yearly budgeting process.

- Ensure correct placement, rate positioning and descriptions on all distribution channels; conduct audit checks and maintain audit calendar. Including but not limit to GDS, Expedia, Booking.com, Website, Voice.
