Job Summary
Tasked to develop and implement content strategies in line with global content direction to drive brand awareness, audience engagement and editorial excellence across properties in respective region. Ensuring brand consistency – both visually and tone of voice – in storytelling through omni-channel content formats.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the brand voice, visuals and messaging is consistent across regional content in accordance with our Brand Expression.
- Serve as the Regional Brand Content Lead and gatekeeper for all property websites within the region, ensuring platforms align with the brand’s visual and tonal expression.
- Guide and direct storytelling on property brand touchpoints, ensuring content is native to platforms with relevant messaging and narratives that express the hotel and brand vision
- Act as the primary regional contact for the development of photo shoots, supporting the briefing and management of creative agencies and freelancers. Travel may be required to oversee shoots.
- Gatekeep the copywriting process across the region, supporting properties with briefing copywriters, sub-editing and proofreading if necessary for property websites
- Oversee content planning and development for pre-opening properties in the region, ensuring alignment with brand expression and channel objectives across owned and paid media. This includes crafting digital website content, co-ordinating lifestyle shoots, post production, producing editorial content and support in management of copywriting.
- Build and oversee a network of creative collaborators including photographers, videographers and copywriters within the region; briefing and commissioning freelancers and agencies for projects and campaigns when necessary.
- Contribute to the global content calendar with regional input
- Work with the Web Analytics and Digital teams to pro-actively implement actionable insights for property websites to inform curation of content and evolve content strategies.
- Support the training and education program for regional properties across Brand Content guidelines, best practices and processes.
- Collaborate with the regional sales and marketing teams as an editorial partner in support of revenue driving collateral.
- Conceptualize and contribute story, talent and strategic ideas to regional content projects and campaigns and support in execution when needed.
- Contributes to ensuring that brand integrity and clarity is always maintained, assist in updating SOP’s, policies and guidelines.
- Models the Company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times. High level of professionalism and knows how to manage confidential data and information at all times.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in content management, planning and production
- Must be a Native English speaker with strong copywriting and sub-editing skills
- Excellent project management skills – must be extremely organized and able to work under pressure, adhere to budgets and meet tight deadlines
- Strong storyteller, with a keen creative eye and digital-savvy
- Solution-focused, detail oriented individidual with an entpreneurial attitude
- Experience with luxury lifestyle brands preferred
- Proven track record of working with – commissioning and briefing - creatives and artists and has a global network of creators
Qualifications –
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or a related Creative discipline.
Experience
- Minimum five years experience in a corporate office in a similar role or project management position
