必須の業務と責任（主要な活動)

• ネットワークセキュリティ、データ保護、システムの信頼性を含むITインフラを監督する。
• 社内部門や外部ベンダーと協力し、テクノロジーとビジネスニーズの整合性を図る。
• 新しいテクノロジープラットフォーム、システムアップグレード、セキュリティコンプライアンス対策の展開をリードする。
• IT予算、資本計画、ベンダーとの契約を管理する。
• ゲストサービスやカンファレンス機能など、ホテル運営にハイレベルなITサポートを提供する。
• システム改善、自動化、新技術ソリューションの特定と導入。

一般的なスキル

• 情報技術、コンピューターサイエンス、または関連分野の学位。
• 最低5年のIT管理経験（理想的にはホスピタリティまたは関連環境での経験）。
• Microsoft Windowsサーバー環境、ネットワークプロトコル、サイバーセキュリティ、システム管理に関する専門知識。
• 不動産管理システム（PMS）、販売時点情報管理（POS）、会議技術などのホスピタリティ・アプリケーションの経験。
• 各部門の関係者と協調して業務を遂行できる方。
• 日本語と英語に堪能であることが望ましい。
• 外国籍の応募者は、情報技術関連の学位と10年の情報技術管理経験を含む日本のビザ要件を満たす必要があります。

Job Summary

Rosewood Miyakojima is seeking an experienced Director of IT to lead our technology operations and ensure seamless IT services across our luxury property. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the property’s computing and communication systems, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and guest experiences.

• Oversee IT infrastructure, including network security, data protection, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to align technology with business needs.
• Lead the deployment of new technology platforms, system upgrades, and security compliance measures.
• Manage IT budgets, capital planning, and vendor contracts.
• Provide high-level IT support for hotel operations, including guest services and conference functions.
• Identify and implement system improvements, automation, and emerging technology solutions.

Required Skills – General skills

• Educational degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT management experience ideally in a hospitality or related environment.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows server environments, networking protocols, cybersecurity, and system administration.
• Experience with hospitality applications such as Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and conferencing technology.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English preferred. Preference is for candidates that can speak, read and write both Japanese and English.
• Foreign applicants must meet Japanese visa requirements, which include a degree in Information Technology related studies and 10 years of Information Technology management experience.
