The Cluster Director of Sales – Government & Royal Affairs is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and managing Government, Royal, Diplomatic, Protocol, and VVIP business for Rosewood AMAALA and Rosewood Red Sea. Based in Riyadh, the role requires extensive engagement with key government entities, royal private affairs offices, protocol departments, and diplomatic stakeholders across KSA and the GCC.

This position represents both properties at the highest level, ensuring culturally fluent engagement, absolute discretion, and flawless execution of high-profile visits and official engagements, while driving sustainable revenue growth aligned with Rosewood’s ultra-luxury positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Government, Royal, Protocol, and VVIP segments across KSA and the GCC.

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with ministries, royal courts, private affairs offices, embassies, and sovereign entities.

  • Act as the primary liaison for Royal, Government, and Diplomatic accounts, ensuring protocol accuracy and cultural alignment.

  • Lead hosting, entertainment, and site visits for VVIPs, delegations, and official missions.

  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Security, Guest Experience, Communications, and destination stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.

  • Work in partnership with Rosewood GSO GCC to align strategy, intelligence, and conversion efforts.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM documentation (Salesforce) with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, International Relations, or related field preferred.

  • 5–7 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales, with strong exposure to Government, Royal, Diplomatic, or VVIP segments.

  • Established network within KSA and GCC government and royal circles.

  • Deep understanding of Saudi and GCC protocol, cultural etiquette, and official processes.

  • Fluent Arabic and English (spoken and written).

  • Exceptional professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.

  • Strong negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
