Rosewood Little Dix Bay currently seeks an Outlet Manager who is a well-rounded and seasoned individual to be part of our award-winning team.
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, the Outlet Manager takes a leadership role for one of the property’s restaurants, overseeing implementation of the F&B departmental strategy into the outlet, and managing service strategy, training culture and the highest service standards.

This position ensures that guest service indicator scores are kept at the level expected by the resort The manager will need to be active in the daily operations, providing direction and monitoring the entire guest experience. Key Expectations
  • Provide leadership and management for all Food and Beverage Service Associates within the outlet
  • To ensure all guests receive the best possible service while dining in the restaurants, constantly looking at ways to personalize each guest experience
  • Investigates any guest complaints concerning service, food and beverages, ensuring resolution before the guest leaves the outlet/ property
  • Complete, accurately and efficiently, all paperwork and administrative duties as and when necessary to ensure effective running of the outlet.
  • Checking Guest log in Opera or other related systems.
  • Set up and maintain POS systems.
  • Understanding LQA, Forbes and Rosewood Brand Standards.
  • To provide comprehensive training to the outlet team as well as offer individual mentoring and coaching where beneficial
  • Creates appropriate development plans and develops team members based on their individual strengths, development needs, career aspirations and abilities.
  • Estimates and order relevant foodstuffs, liquors, wines, or other beverages, and supplies.
  • Share & implement new ideas & improvements within the Food & Beverage department.
  • Accept responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of the hotel guests and associates.
  • Ensures that regular, on-going communication is happening in all areas of food and beverage service (e.g., pre-meal briefings, staff meetings). Continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.
  • Champion change, ensure brand and local initiatives are implemented and communicate follow-up actions to team as necessary.
  • Check all F & B areas for cleanliness, checklist of all restaurants, and maintaining the par stock
  • Willing to provide coverage to other outlets as required
  • Any other task deemed necessary by Management within the scope of the operation
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: Two - Three years’ experience in hospitality industry in the specified role
  • Experience of a 5* hospitality environment essential
  • Experience of working to quality standards such as Forbes, FHR & LQA
  • Remote location experience strongly preferred
  • Education: Must have completed secondary school education and preferably received a college education or taken applicable continuing education courses. Be able to demonstrate strong Mathematical and English language skills (spelling and grammar) and must be computer literate. A proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of people.
  • General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data. Must have good eye for detail and be accurate and thorough in one’s work with good follow up.
  • Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages an advantage.
