Job Description

Our Event Operations Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of events operations, ensuring that private events are executed with company standards and that guest expectations are consistently exceeded in terms of quality, quantity and service.

  • Oversees the Events department to ensure all guest expectations are met while adhering to agreed budgets. Maintains the highest level of service quality throughout all events.
  • Conducts thorough preparation for upcoming events, including the coordination of equipment, linen, glassware, and silverware.
  • Ensures that a supervisor is always designated to each events
  • Prepares work schedules ensuring all events are staffed and that all casual labour is booked well in advance.
  • Manages all supplier deliveries related to events, ensuring that items are maintained properly during use and that all goods are checked, counted, and returned in good condition after events.Assists in recruiting and selecting team members, adhering to hotel guidelines and utilizing a competency-based approach to ensure the right fit for the team.Conducts annual Performance Development Discussions with team members to support their professional growth and align their goals with company objectives.Demonstrates strong communication skills in both German and English

Rosewood Munich to Open in Autumn 2023 Rosewood Munich will open in early 2023 as the brand’s first property in Germany and seventh property in Europe. Housed in two landmark, historical buildings comprised of the former headquarters of the State Bank of Bavaria and the adjacent Palais Neuhaus-Preysing, a former grand aristocratic residence, Rosewood Munich will be ideally situated on Kardinal-Faulhaber-Strasse in the heart of the historic city center. The hotel will be located within walking distance of several of the city’s most popular sites and destinations, including central Marienplatz square, the Residenz city palace, Bavarian State Opera, and the Maximilian- and Theatinerstraße shopping districts, as well as world renowned museums. Rosewood Munich will offer 132 spacious guestrooms and suites designed to complement the property’s original façade and iconic stairways, which remain well preserved and contribute to the city of Munich’s ensemble of historical buildings. The property will boast an inviting lobby lounge and two distinct dining venues, which include a full service restaurant and a vibrant bar. Rosewood Munich will also feature a full service spa, which will house five treatments rooms, as well as an indoor pool and fitness area. Additionally, the hotel will include extensive meetings and events spaces to accommodate a variety of private gatherings, conferences, and special events for up to 400 guests.
