ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, prioritize, organize, and follow up
- Understand a guest’s service needs and ensure that the guest is informed by the butler about action taken to satisfy requests or issues
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team and maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- With the help of the Director of Butler Services, train the butlers and coordinators, and conduct ongoing training with existing associates
- Promote positive guest relations at all times and build rapport with internal and external guests to enhance the recognition program
- Monitor closely all expenses and inventories, keeping a record of each item in the Butler department
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a sizeable luxury hotel, with at least 2 years in similar capacity
- Proficiency in English, Putonghua and Cantonese is essential
- Proven managerial abilities in people management and decision making
- High standards of professional manner with exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem solving skills
