Working with entrepreneurs around the world, RWCV provides both financial and strategic support to big ideas and visionary entrepreneurs who can benefit from Rosewood’s global luxury hospitality platform and expertise.
Impact of this role
Over the course of the 6-month program, you will act as a fully integrated member of our investment team. We work to uncover the most innovative companies across early and growth stages and collaborate closely with the Rosewood Hotel Group to gain unique perspective and drive value for our portfolio companies. You will have exposure to investment research across different markets and industries.
Key responsibilities
- Sourcing Investment Opportunities – participation in meetings with start-up founders and management.
- Investment Due Diligence – perform due diligence on potential investment targets carrying out extensive market research and competitor analysis.
- Financial Analysis – provide analysis of business plans, growth possibilities, unit economics and financials of potential investment targets.
- Valuation – conduct valuation analysis on the investment targets based on comparable public companies, precedent transactions, and other analytical approaches as appropriate.
- Investment Memo – support the drafting and presentation of investment memos.
- Portfolio Monitoring – assist with ongoing analysis, monitoring, and reporting on existing portfolio investments, including review of quarterly management reports and board information packs, where relevant.

Critical skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, business, or related disciplines
- Internship experience in investment, finance, banking, or consulting would be preferable
- Exceptional skills in investment due diligence, financial analysis and modelling
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills; Mandarin is considered a bonus
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Self-starter and intellectually curious with interest in investment
- Team player with a positive attitude, comfortable presenting, and willing to share ideas.
