About the Role
Our Pastry Chef position is a hands-on position focused on the daily operations and production of a variety of pastry creations.
Responsibilities include
- Optimise the cooking process with a focus on speed and quality
- Maintain exceptional hygiene practices
- Ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Pursue self-managed continued education
About You
The ideal candidate will be adaptable and possess a positive can do attitude, along with:
- Experience leading staff
- Skills in baking breads and creating pastries from scratch (preferred)
- Exceptional cooking techniques and meticulous processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent high quality
- Agility in responding to daily guest requests and menu changes
- Good time management, effective communication skills and the ability to multitask

This is a full-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week although you may be expected to work up to 60 hours per week during our peak periods.
