Functieomschrijving

De beveiliger zal in het beveiligingsteam werken om alle beveiligingsoperaties te overzien en de veiligheid van gasten, medewerkers en eigendommen te waarborgen. Deze rol omvat het implementeren en het naleven van veiligheidsprotocollen, het overzien van dagelijkse en wekelijkse beveiligingsprioriteiten en het assisteren bij noodsituaties.

  • Patrouilleer door het hotel om de veiligheid van gasten en medewerkers te waarborgen en om alle hotelactiviteiten te beschermen.
  • Initiëren en opvolgen van alle onderzoeken naar strafbare feiten
  • Assisteren bij BHV, zorgen voor documentatie en het maken van raportages.
  • Controleer alle alarmsystemen, veiligheids- en brandblussystemen en houdt de beveiliging van gebouwdeuren, servicegebieden en aflevergebieden nauwlettend in de gaten.
  • Houdt zich bezig met basis kantoortaken, waaronder, maar niet beperkt tot, CCTV, visitatie, in- en uitschrijven van bezoekers van het hotel
  • Verzamelt bewijsmateriaal van incidenten in geval van ongevallen, noodsituaties of veiligheidsonderzoeken
  • Reageren op incidenten bij brand, medische noodgevallen, andere bedreigingen, noodgevallen in de lift, gebeurtenissen met gevaarlijke stoffen, of omstandigheden volgens de SOP’s van Rosewood Amsterdam
  • Registreer en onderhoud het logboek van de afdeling
  • Gevonden voorwerpen nauwkeurig rapporteren.
  • Zorgt ervoor dat alle verwijdering van eigendommen wordt uitgevoerd binnen de toepasselijke beleidsvereisten en in overeenstemming met de SOP’s.
  • Behandel alle gastgerelateerde incidenten indien nodig.
  • Veiligheid op de werkplek: Is op de hoogte van en werkt binnen de veiligheidsrichtlijnen van het hotel, inclusief het melden van mogelijke gevaren en gevaarlijk gedrag.
  • MBO 2 beveiliger diploma (harde eis)
  • Verplicht Nederlands spreken
  • Moet in staat zijn om taken uit te voeren met aandacht voor detail, snelheid en nauwkeurigheid.
  • Prioriteren, organiseren en opvolgen. Wees een heldere denker, blijf kalm en los problemen op met gezond verstand.
  • Team spirit,
  • Werk met zelfstandigheid.
  • Behoud de vertrouwelijkheid van gastinformatie en relevante hotelgegevens.
  • Vereist om Engels te spreken, lezen en schrijven, waarbij vloeiendheid in andere talen sterk de voorkeur heeft.
  • Eerdere ervaring als Security Officer voor een luxe hotel heeft de voorkeur


 

About the Role

The Security Officer will work with the Security team to oversee all security operations to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and property. This role involves supervising the security guards, implementing safety protocols, overseeing daily and weekly security priorities, and coordinating responses to emergencies. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Report for duty punctually ready to work in full uniform paying attention to personal hygiene and tidiness.
  • Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and associates and to protect all hotel assets.
  • Answer house calls, assist guests and associate’s safety and security in hotel.
  • Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons.
  • Assist sick and injured guests and associates, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports.
  • Check all alarm systems, safety and fire equipment systems and closely monitor security of building doors, service areas and delivery areas.
  • Maintain accurate records while engaging in basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log, code book, and associate and guest binder interaction.
  • Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others.
  • Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the Company.
  • Respond to incidents of disaster, healthcare facility emergency codes, fire, medical emergency, other threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous material event, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following procedures established for post, by the company, or through training or certification.
  • Accurately log and maintains the Lost and Found department log while adhering to the stated restrictions as they appear in the departmental manual. Assures that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with standards.
  • Handle all guest-related incidents as necessary.
  • Workplace Safety: Is aware of and works within healthcare facility and departmental safety guidelines, including reporting potential hazards and hazardous behavior.

Requirements
  • MBO 2 beveiliger diploma 
  • Mandatory speaking Dutch
  • Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Prioritize, organize and follow-up.
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement.
  • Follow directions thoroughly.
  • Understand a guest’s service needs.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team,
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Security Officer for a luxury or ultra-luxury property is highly preferred.
