JOB SUMMARY :
The Director of Spa plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing all aspects of the wellness and fitness departments within our facility.
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Director of Spa will oversee daily operations, develop innovative programs, and ensure exceptional member experiences.
Key responsibilities include supervising and training the wellness and fitness teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality fitness classes, personal training, and wellness services that align with brand standards. The Director of Spa will coordinate scheduling, manage inventory, and conduct regular inspections to uphold safety and quality standards.
Additionally, will be responsible for launching creative new wellness and fitness initiatives, managing membership programs, and developing engaging promotional activities to maximize member retention and satisfaction.
Ultimately the Director of Spa will monitor associate performance and associate turnover, ensuring accountability and continuous associate development. Financial management is a critical component, including overseeing budgets, analysing financial data, and implementing strategies to optimize revenue and control expenses. Collaboration with other departments and third parties will be essential to enhance the overall member experience and promote a holistic approach to health and wellness.

· Manage daily operations of spa and fitness facilities for seamless service delivery.
· Maintain cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance at high standards.
· Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals across departments.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
· Develop and promote new services, spa menus, programs, and wellness packages to meet guest needs and diversify offerings.
· Ensure all equipment and facilities are well-maintained, clean, and functional.
· Assist with the configuration and management of operating software systems.
· Guarantee compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
· Track, analysis and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Use data to inform operational improvements and strategic adjustments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Sports Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Spa Management certifications)
- Knowledge of Thai Ministry of Public Health licensing requirements for spa operations
- Experience in spa and fitness operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and guest satisfaction
- Familiarity with spa and fitness software systems
