Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team on a 9-month maternity leave contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and execute impactful digital campaigns, manage cross-channel strategies, and help drive us forward during a dynamic and important period.
 
 
Job Summary
As an ambassador and gatekeeper of the brand, the Digital Marketing Manager is a key member of our communications team, working collaboratively with internal teams to support business strategy,  media relations, and guest programs. 
 
Working closely with the Communications team to deliver an innovative and creative communications strategy aligned with Rosewood’s Vision and Brand Values whilst driving revenue through a deep understanding of the marketing mix. 
 
The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a strong background in data analysis with the ability to create high-performance digital and content strategy with a compelling narrative. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for all Digital efforts for Rosewood Amsterdam.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns for Rosewood Amsterdam to grow awareness and increase direct online revenue and conversion.
  • Work closely with digital agencies globally to develop paid media strategy across all digital channels including search, display and social.
  • Ensure that creative assets are on the brand and optimized for performance across all channels and campaign types, including the review and approval of marketing copy, images, etc. 
  • Provide strategic support to properties including Field Digital Marketing managers, with the execution of digital marketing campaigns. 
  • Analyse monthly & quarterly reporting dashboards, providing actionable insights and identifying campaign optimization opportunities to drive maximum return on ad spend.
  • Oversee partnerships with third-party platforms, including those used for conversion optimization, booking engine, online review sites and local search. 
  • Work closely with brand marketing and communications and CRM teams to deliver connected and holistic campaigns across all digital touchpoints.
  • Support commercial division with overall achievement of sales and revenue targets.
  • Create and execute annual training calendar to elevate digital marketing knowledge within the field and alignment between corporate & property goals. 
 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Five years of digital/e-commerce experience; previous experience with a luxury/hospitality brand is strongly preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/communications or related discipline. 
  • Knowledge and experience using Adobe and Google platforms, including content management and analytics. 
  • Strong knowledge of the latest digital and hospitality trends and best practices across all channels including SEO, PPC, display, social and mobile. 
  • An eye for design and brand aesthetic to ensure that all campaign visuals and content accurately reflect the Rosewood brand in the digital space. 
  • Highly analytical, strategic-thinking and goal-driven individual. This role is focused on positive ROI and revenue growth and involves strategic analysis and business acumen to drive positive results. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Fluent in English.
  • A work permit for the Netherlands is required to be considered for this position.
