The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It includes 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

The Role
GSQ is a vibrant community space offering quality, approachable dining from morning to evening. Whether stopping by for expertly crafted coffee, enjoying a fresh, seasonal lunch, or relaxing with friends during aperitivo hour, GSQ is designed to foster connection, celebration, and everyday enjoyment for all. We are seeking a warm and charismatic Host to be the first point of welcome for our guests. As a Host, you will embody the art of relationship hospitality — creating an inviting, elegant, and effortless arrival experience. With a poised and professional manner, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and set the tone for memorable dining experiences that reflect the highest standards of Rosewood service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Extending a warm, genuine welcome to every guest upon arrival.

• Managing bookings and reservations efficiently, ensuring smooth flow of service.

• Working closely with the restaurant team to coordinate guest seating and preferences.

• Anticipating guest needs and personalising each interaction with thoughtful detail.

• Representing GSQ with professionalism, warmth, and confidence.

About You

• A natural people person, confident in building rapport with diverse guests.

• Previous experience in a luxury or high-profile dining environment preferred.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Calm, professional, and gracious under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
