Job Description


This position is open to candidates based in or willing to relocate to CA, TX, FL, IL or NY. The salary range for this position is $65,000-90,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the company reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of experience, location, and education.

Rosewood Hotel Group seeks a talented and results drive Search Engine Optimization Analyst to drive best-in-class online engagement for our customers worldwide.  

The SEO Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing our online presence and improving search engine rankings to drive organic traffic and ensure our websites are visible to our target audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO techniques, and will be responsible for implementing and monitoring SEO strategies to improve our online performance. This is a full-time, exempt position. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords that align with our business objectives. 

  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings. 

  • Technical SEO: Audit websites for technical SEO issues, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and indexability. Implement technical SEO improvements. 

  • Off-Page Optimization: Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and backlink profile. 

  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize content for search engines and user engagement. 

  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor websites to identify SEO opportunities and trends. 

  • SEO Reporting: Monitor and report on website performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEO software. Provide regular updates on key performance indicators. 

  • Local SEO: Optimize local search presence through activities such as Google My Business management and local citation building. 

  • Algorithm Updates: Stays up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly. 

  • A/B Testing: Conduct SEO experiments to identify effective strategies and recommend adjustments. 

  • Recommendations: Provide recommendations and insights for improving website content and structure to increase organic traffic. Stays up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Proven, hands on experience (5+ years) in search engine optimization 

  • Advanced understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. 

  • Advanced in SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, BrightEdge, local listing platforms). 

  • Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques. 

  • Familiarity with HTML and website content management systems is a plus. 

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights 

  • Excellent communication and strong presentation skills  

  • Strong project management and organizational skills 

  • Experience with global markets and location-based businesses within travel/ hospitality highly desirable
