THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE
As Beverage Manager you will, develop, curate, and maintain comprehensive beverage programs across all hotel outlets including restaurants, lounges, banquets and in-room dining. You will also support the teams both in bar and service to increase sales by being visible in the operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop, curate, and maintain comprehensive beverage programs across all hotel outlets including restaurants, lounges, and in-room dining
•Create and execute wine lists, spirits selections, craft cocktail menus, and non alcoholic beverage offerings that align with brand standards and guest preferences
•Stay current with industry trends and continuously innovate beverage offerings to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
•Prepare reports on beverage sales, costs, inventory, and variance analysis
•Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements
• Work collaboratively with Finance and Front-of-House teams on budget forecasting
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise beverage staff including bartenders, servers, and barbacks
• Conduct ongoing training programs focused on product knowledge, mixology, service standards, and upselling techniques
• Maintain high performance standards and handle disciplinary matters according to Rosewood standards and progressive discipline policies
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
 • Manage beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to ensure freshness and minimize waste
• Monitor par levels and implement inventory management systems
• Ensure accurate billing of beverage charges and mini-bar consumption
• Maintain bar cleanliness, proper mise en place, and adherence to hotel standards
• Manage beverage cost percentages and work toward profitability targets
• Ensure all beverage service meets Rosewood Hotel Georgia specifications and luxury hospitality standards
• Provide exceptional service to guests, handle special requests, and resolve any service issues
• Be familiar with all hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest conversations
• Ensure knowledge of proper glassware, garnishes, and presentation techniques for all beverages
• Ensure compliance with BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation and all relevant food safety laws
• Maintain Serving It Right Certification and ensure staff compliance
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols
• Conduct regular audits of outlets to ensure adherence to standards
• Monitor beverage costs and pricing strategies to achieve targeted profit margins
• Other duties as assigned.

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 2 years of beverage management experience in a luxury or upscale hospitality environment
• Demonstrated experience managing bar operations, staff, and beverage programs
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, craft cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Experience with wine and beverage purchasing and cost management
• Previous supervisory or management experience required
• Proficiency with POS systems (Micros or similar)
• Knowledge of beverage cost accounting and inventory management systems
• Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with BC Liquor regulations and compliance requirements
