Rosewood Little Dix Bay currently seeks a Director of Finance Business Partner who is a well-rounded and seasoned individual to be a part of our iconic resort.

The Director of Finance Business Partner is a key leadership position within the property and responsible for the accounting and financial control functions of the hotel, as well as providing insights and guidance to senior colleagues to enable them to maximise the success of their operations.  

Key Expectations 

  • Ensures timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting, effective internal accounting controls, and provides financial advisory services to operations. 
  • Ensures that all local and corporate policies and procedures, internal accounting controls and systems controls are observed by all the hotel management.
  • Safeguard all of the hotel assets and financial resources to ensure that all assets are utilized to maximize the hotel profitability 
  • Ensures compliance under the terms of the management and ancillary contracts by RHR, hotel management and owning companies
  • Acting as a coach and mentor to finance department, enabling growth and development within the team
  • Overseas the leadership teams within the Purchasing & Information Technology departments in order to facilitate smooth running of these departments

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: Candidate should have 4+ years in a position as Director of Finance in a full-service luxury property with stand-alone accounting to the Hotel and Restaurant business. 
  • Education:  With a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and have enrolled in or completed the CA, CGA, CPA, CHAE or CMA designation program.  
  • General Skills:  Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines for financial reports.  Must have a high degree of professional integrity, and be able to work safe, effectively and efficiently. 
  • Technical Skills:  Must have skills in database, spreadsheet or other accounting applications.  Organizational skills are required to maintain records. The position requires the candidate to be fully trained in USALI 10th Edition, Hyperion Planning, opera and conversant with other accounting and hotel management systems.
