Manager who is a well-rounded and seasoned individual to be part of our award-winning team.

Key Expectations

The I.T. Manager is responsible for maintaining the hardware and software of the hotel systems and troubleshooting related problems. They provide direction in the development and usage of information technology for all areas of the Resort. The duties include, but are not limited to: network and systems administration, network engineering, PBX system administration, hardware and software installation, vendor management, asset tracking, information technology security, disaster recovery and information technology policies and procedures.

The key non-technical skills of this role are project management (organization and execution), excellent written and verbal communications, relationship building, outstanding customer service (internal & external), maintaining calm under pressure.
The role requires an excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and decision-making skills who can work cohesively with immediate and remote teams effectively with minimal direct supervision.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and IT support roles. Along with minimum of two (2) years of managerial experience.
• Education:
• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology field. Along with in depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft or Cisco certification.
• Applicable Microsoft certifications: MCSA, MCTS or MCITP for Windows Server, MCDST for workstations.
• Experience with these Hospitality related applications and or systems (PMS, POS, Key card, PBX, Voice mail).

General Skills:
• Should be responsive 24 hours per day in case of emergencies. Participate in an on-call program as required.
• Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Prioritize, organize and follow-up.
• A proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team of people.
• Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
• Follow directions thoroughly.
• Understand a guest’s service needs.
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
• Work with minimal supervision
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
• Must have good eye for detail and be accurate and thorough in one’s work with good follow up.
• Possession of a valid drivers licence
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
