The Director of PR and Communications will handle all aspects of communication, marketing, and publicity of the hotel land oversee communication activities such as public relations, marketing, social media, and branding.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in hotel marketing or marketing in other industries, advertising, or public relations. He/she should have a college degree in Marketing & Communications Management. He/she should also be collaborative, personable, strategic, creative, organized, sociable, and connected in the community. Excellence in both oral and written communication, with experience in writing press releases, articles and advertising copy is also required.
The Director of PR and Communications will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and will provide strategic marketing communications plan to support sales and marketing objectives, including budget and metrics. He/she will also liaise effectively and maintain mutually beneficial relations with corporate brand, act as hotel spokesperson to the media, nurture close and productive relationships with local print, broadcast and online media, encompassing lifestyle, business, trade and news categories, and responsible for responding to and fulfilling all media inquiries promptly and in keeping with the highest professional PR standards.

- Drive and contribute to the overall efficiency of the department
- Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of any confidential documents, matters, and techniques
- Should always model the Company’s culture.
