We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team in our restaurant Eeuwen. This role is ideal for a passionate professional who thrives in a high-standard kitchen and is ready to take on a key leadership position.

About the Role

As Sous Chef, you will support the Chef de Cuisine in leading daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence in every dish. You will play an important role in guiding the team, maintaining high standards, and contributing to a refined culinary experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Cuisine in overseeing daily kitchen operations
• Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality of all dishes
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and organization
• Assist with menu development and seasonal updates
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, and cost control
• Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• High standards of presentation and attention to detail
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for gastronomy
