Role


We are currently looking for a Rooms Controller to join our Front Office team at Rosewood London. In this pivotal role, you will manage room allocations, arrivals reports, and house inventory, working closely with different departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences. 


Key expectations of this role are

  • Manage daily arrivals reports, assign rooms based on guest preferences, and balance room inventory, proactively flagging potential overbookings.
  • Allocate higher-category rooms, special attention guests (SAGs), and special requests for upcoming days.
  • Support Guest Relations and Sales teams with allocations, showrooms, and operational updates.
  • Coordinate group arrivals, check-ins, and special requirements, maintaining accurate guest profiles in Opera PMS.
  • Prepare operational reports highlighting SAGs and other key priorities.
  • Monitor out-of-service or out-of-order rooms, coordinating maintenance and housekeeping as needed.
  • Uphold Rosewood’s luxury service standards, adhering to LQA and Forbes protocols, and promote hotel facilities and offerings.
  • Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and other guest relations duties during peak periods.
  • Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms promptly, ensuring exceptional service.


Profile

  • Previous experience in rooms management, guest relations, or front office roles within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS, Unifocus, Alliants, and Microsoft Office.
  • Passionate about delivering personalized, memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a high-pressure environment.
