Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Training & Development Support
• Coordinate, schedule, and track all resort training programs, workshops, certifications, and compliance courses.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate training sessions, including new-hire orientation and service-culture programs.
• Monitor attendance, performance milestones, and progression for all participants.
• Support leadership development initiatives and high-potential associate programs.
• Act as an advocate for training and development success stories.
Onboarding & Associate Experience
• Coordinate all aspects of the new-hire onboarding experience, ensuring a luxury-level welcome and immersion into resort culture.
• Prepare onboarding materials, welcome kits, and orientation schedules.
• Conduct property tours and ensure new associates have the tools, uniforms, and resources needed for success.
• Work with department leaders to ensure seamless departmental onboarding through effective administration of Integrated Training Plans (ITPs) and departmental discovery.
Probationary Period Process
• Track and manage the probationary review process for new associates.
• Coordinate with department leaders to ensure timely completion of evaluations and follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate records and support communication with associates regarding expectations, progress, and next steps.
Recruitment Support
• Assist in recruitment efforts by contacting potential applicants, coordinating interview schedules, and maintaining communication throughout the hiring process
• Review resumes and candidate profiles to support initial screening and shortlisting.
• Collaborate with the Talent & Culture team to ensure a smooth candidate experience and timely follow-up.
Internship & Management Trainee Program Management
• Oversee the full lifecycle of internship and management trainee programs once participants are onboarded.
• Coordinate rotations, training schedules, and evaluations.
• Track performance progress, attendance, developmental milestones, and project assignments.
• Organize mid-term and final reviews, ensuring feedback is captured and communicated.
LMS & Online Learning Management
• Track associate course completion, send reminders, and generate LMS-based training reports.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide user support to associates and department leaders.
• Monitor engagement and recommend enhancements to improve the online learning experience.
Performance & Talent Management
• Maintain accurate and confidential training and performance records.
• Support the administration of performance reviews, goal-setting processes, and talent-development plans.
• Assist in tracking associate progression, promotions, and internal mobility initiatives.
Quality & Guest Experience Support
• Assist in coordinating quality assurance and guest experience initiatives across departments.
• Support the documentation, tracking, and reporting of audit results, including GoAudits and other internal/external quality assessments.
• Help compile data and insights from guest feedback platforms such as TrustYou to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Promote a culture of service excellence by contributing to trending reports and recognition of quality performance.
Communication & Coordination
• Communicate training schedules, reminders, and updates across all resort departments.
• Work closely with Talent & Culture, Operations, and department trainers to ensure alignment with resort standards.
• Prepare reports on training metrics, completion rates, feedback, and program effectiveness.
Guest-Centric Culture Reinforcement
• Promote the resort’s luxury service culture through training initiatives and associate engagement activities.
• Assist in the coordination of associate events, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
• Encourage a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
Employee Resource Group (ERG) Support
• Assist in coordinating Employee Resource Group initiatives, meetings, and events.
• Serve as a liaison between ERG leaders and Talent & Culture to ensure alignment with resort culture and inclusion goals.
• Support communication, logistics, and participation efforts to strengthen associate engagement.
Associate Engagement & Survey Support
• Assist in coordinating Sense of Engagement Pulse survey activities and timelines.
• Support the review and interpretation of survey results once published.
• Track progress and assist in implementing action items to strengthen associate engagement and workplace culture.
• Help communicate updates and achievements to ensure transparency and continued momentum.
Associate Recognition Programs
• Support the planning and execution of associate recognition programs, celebrations, rallies and award ceremonies.
• Assist in collecting nominations, preparing materials, and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual recognition activities.
• Help promote a culture of appreciation by highlighting outstanding performance and service excellence.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Diploma in Hospitality, Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in learning and development, HR, or training (preferred).
• Experience with training facilitation or adult learning principles is a plus.
• 2–3 years experience in hotel or resort setting is preferred
• Previous experience with Forbes, LQA, luxury standards preferred
