THE TEAM
You will be the creative and operational leader for our resort's entire culinary landscape, reporting directly to the General Manager. You will lead and inspire a brigade of passionate culinary professionals, including Executive Chefs and Sous Chefs, and provide crucial culinary direction to the Food & Beverage management team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

YOUR ROLE
As our Director of Culinary, you will be the strategic visionary behind all our culinary operations. Your role is pivotal in defining our culinary identity, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency across all our kitchens. You will directly contribute to our group's success by creating unforgettable gastronomic experiences that enhance our brand reputation, support our financial goals, and build a world-class culinary team. Key stakeholders include our guests, ownership, the F&B service team, and your talented culinary brigade.

HOW YOU‘LL MAKE THE PLACE
  • Develop and execute the resort’s overarching culinary vision and strategy, championing innovation and aligning with market trends.
  • Spearhead the creation, costing, and implementation of all new menus and concepts, championing sustainability and local sourcing initiatives.
  • Establish, audit, and enforce the highest standards of food quality, safety, recipe adherence, and consistency across all kitchens.
  • Manage the culinary budget and implement strategies to drive profitability without compromising quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the entire culinary brigade, fostering a culture of continuous learning, creativity, and excellence.
  • Provide expert culinary guidance and support to the Food & Beverage division to ensure a unified and exceptional guest dining experience.

COULD THIS BE YOU?
  • You are a strategic culinary leader with 10+ years of progressive experience, including 5+ years at an Executive Chef or Director of Culinary level within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • You possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management, Business degree or equivalent experience.
  • You are an innovative culinarian with extensive knowledge of current food trends, menu development, and a passion for sustainability and local sourcing.
  • You are an inspirational mentor with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to engage, develop, and motivate a large, diverse culinary team.
  • You have an unwavering commitment to quality, with deep expertise in establishing and auditing rigorous food safety and sanitation standards.
  • You are a collaborative leader with a guest-centric focus, able to partner effectively with F&B management to elevate the entire dining journey.
