OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

We are offering an opportunity to hospitality students to join the team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi. As Marketing Intern you will be gaining on-the-job experience by supporting the day-to-day operation of the Marketing department and assisting in the implementation of different projects for a period of 6 to 8 months. This role will require exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and organize content photoshoots for the following channel: Facebook and Instagram.

• Oversee Rosewood Abu Dhabi website page and other online media such as TripAdvisor to ensure all is updated and aligned as per Rosewood Hotels & Resorts standards.

• Ensure that all on-ground marketing materials are up-to-date and effectively displayed on various platforms such as IPTV, totems, and lift screens, in order to promote the hotel's services and facilities to guests and visitors.

• Manage the hotel's social media accounts, which includes creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and community management.

• Manage the hotel's email marketing campaigns, including the creation of newsletters and promotional emails.

• Creation and design of hotel collateral, food and beverage outlet promotion visuals and menus, hotel advertising and festive season brochure within Rosewood Hotels & Resorts standards.

• Coordinate media visits and influencer stays, from creating the itinerary and making necessary bookings to ensuring that the guest experience meets expectations and that the hotel receives positive coverage.

• Support the Marketing Manager and give ideas to develop a program of highly innovative marketing events/activities, to ensure that Rosewood Abu Dhabi has a creative schedule of events and communication, tailored to each business/outlet.

• Engage positively with the Operational teams to harness their “great ideas,” and deploy as part of the marketing agenda.

• Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.

• Day to day administrative tasks such as complimentary and entertainment forms, database update and Purchase orders follow up.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: None.

• Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited Hotel Management School.

• General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; proficiency in the operation of standard office equipment.

• Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
