Job summary -
This position supports the marketing team with the administration of social media channels and content marketing strategy. This position will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, engaging, and responding to our followers; ensure that all communication platforms adhere to Rosewood’s brand guidelines and support the marketing and communication goals. Candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to express our brand’s views creatively and with the brand’s tone of voice. Daily communication with the marketing team and relevant departments throughout the property to assist with on-site content efforts including photo/video shoots.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
• Oversee the social media accounts and community management for Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and its outlets including content calendar development, copy approval, imagery curation and monthly reporting
• Prepare and execute strategic social campaigns to support the overall business goals of the property
• Generate, edit, publish and share impactful and compelling social media content on weekly basis that increases engagement with our audience, consistently delivering on-brand voice posts across targeted social platforms working closely with key internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain online relations with customers by replying to social media messages and reviews
• Support influencer marketing by sourcing influencers for content creation (evergreen and campaign focused)
• Own research, outreach and brand relationships with partnership opportunities for social first giveaways
• Develop a reporting process that includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for social media campaigns to implement optimizations for performance
• Collaborate with DOSM and Marketing Comms Manager on paid social media campaigns
• Coordinate all content creation photo and video shoots, including pre planning sessions with marketing and operation team members. Be onsite during production to oversee content creation efforts.
• Work closely with the Guest Relations team to create memorable experiences and personal touches for high-profile guests/content creators/influencers to promote social posts and positive press
• Stay up to date on new social media tools and best practices, identifying ways for the hotel to be at the forefront of social media trends
• Identify, recommend, and act upon any potential marketing opportunities that create a positive market profile or potential revenue
• Attend staff and management meetings as needed
• Prepare and submit timely monthly reports, participate in scheduled sales and or marketing meetings

Experience -
• 5-7 years Marketing and/or Public Relations experience
• Hospitality industry experience helpful

Qualifications
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices
• 3+ years experience in social media management preferably at an agency
• Self-motivated demonstrating a high level of initiative and proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment,
• prioritizing appropriately
• Familiar with graphic design platforms
• Knowledge in photography and brand identity guidance

Education or Certification -
• Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.

Language -
• Required to speak, read and write English.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, lift up to20 pounds, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
