YOUR ROLE
As our Director of Events, you will lead the strategic and operational execution of our events sales function, driving revenue growth while creating exceptional experiences for our guests and clients. You will inspire and develop a high-performing sales team, cultivate strong client relationships, and ensure every event reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality and personalized service.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Lead and oversee all Event Sales activities, ensuring revenue targets and business objectives are achieved.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize group, corporate, social, and catering business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, event planners, and corporate partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively generate leads through networking, market research, and industry engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Culinary, Front Office, and other departments to ensure the seamless execution of events.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to the Event Sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports, ensuring accurate revenue projections and business insights.
- Ensure all proposals, contracts, and event agreements are negotiated professionally and align with company standards and profitability goals.
- Champion the Rosewood brand by delivering personalized service and creating memorable experiences that exceed client expectations.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- Proven experience in a senior Event Sales leadership role, preferably within luxury hospitality or a related premium service environment.
- Completion of vocational training or a university degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets through strategic sales initiatives.
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in event sales systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in both German and English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
- Passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences and delivering service excellence.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven, and collaborative approach.

Rosewood Munich opened in Autumn 2023 as the brand’s first property in Germany and seventh property in Europe.
