THE TEAM
The APAC Operations team oversees the daily operations and performance of the Asia Pacific hotel portfolio while providing global strategic direction, systems, and tools to support consistent and efficient operations execution worldwide. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with senior leaders across global operations, food & beverage excellence, new hotel openings, and regional commercial teams.
YOUR ROLE
As Vice President, Operations, APAC & Operational Excellence, Global, you will lead and drive operational success across all properties in Asia Pacific while shaping global operational strategies that ensure alignment of performance standards across regions. You will champion operational and food & beverage excellence, oversee new hotel openings, and act as a brand ambassador for New World Hotels. Your leadership will strengthen owner relationships, elevate guest experiences, and embed Rosewood’s purpose and brand values into every operational touchpoint.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Lead APAC operations and global operational excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic goals.
- Inspire and sustain regional alignment of operational standards, fostering best practice sharing and seamless rollout of strategic initiatives.
- Drive annual business and capital planning, monitoring execution to optimize profitability, quality, and service excellence.
- Oversee new hotel openings, ensuring smooth launches and sustained operational success.
- Build collaborative, trust-based relationships with hotel owners and key stakeholders to align objectives and resolve challenges.
- Champion talent development and succession planning, mentoring senior leaders and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- You bring 15+ years of leadership experience in global hospitality organizations, combining on-property expertise with corporate operational strategy.
- You have strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret P&L statements and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- You excel at building high-performing teams, developing talent pipelines, and creating a results-oriented culture.
- You are a strategic thinker who can translate vision into actionable plans and drive transformative initiatives across regions.
- You demonstrate exceptional communication and influencing skills, adapting your approach to engage diverse stakeholders and gain alignment.
- You embody connection and integrity, fostering trust-based relationships and championing Rosewood’s purpose and values in every interaction.
