THE TEAM

You will join the Global Legal team at Rosewood Hotel Group, reporting directly to the EVP, Legal and General Counsel. The team partners closely with senior leaders across IT, Digital, CRM, Talent and Culture, Operations, Commercial, Finance and Brand to support the Group’s global growth and innovation agenda.

As a key member of this leadership team, you will work at the intersection of legal, technology and business strategy, shaping how privacy, data and technology considerations are embedded across the organization and its managed properties worldwide.

 

YOUR ROLE

As Vice President, Privacy, Global, you will shape and drive Rosewood Hotel Group’s global privacy, data and technology legal strategy. Acting as the Group’s senior authority in this space, you will enable the business to responsibly harness data and technology to accelerate growth, strengthen the brand and deepen guest trust.

You will serve as a strategic partner to the EVP, Legal and General Counsel and to senior executives across the organization, helping navigate complex regulatory, technology and AI-related matters in a way that supports innovation and commercial objectives. This is a unique opportunity to architect and scale a global privacy and data framework for a leading luxury hospitality company.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Serve as the senior leader for privacy, data protection and technology-related legal matters across the Group, engaging with executive and Board stakeholders
  • Define and evolve the global privacy and data strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligning with digital, commercial and brand priorities
  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous enhancement of a global privacy and data compliance framework across regions
  • Embed “privacy by design” and responsible AI principles into business, technology and guest experience initiatives
  • Translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into clear, practical guidance that enables business growth
  • Oversee privacy and AI risk assessment frameworks, ensuring appropriate governance, mitigation and escalation
  • Lead global contractual strategy and negotiations relating to data, technology and digital platforms
  • Guide the organization on global data use, cross-border transfers, AI governance and digital innovation initiatives

 

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You bring deep expertise in global privacy, data protection and technology law, with practical experience across multiple jurisdictions
  • You have led or built global privacy or data programmes, including governance, operating models and frameworks
  • You are highly commercial in your thinking, able to translate complex legal and technical concepts into clear business guidance
  • You are confident advising senior stakeholders, with strong executive presence and the ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • You are comfortable operating at the intersection of law, technology and innovation, including digital platforms and AI use cases
  • You are a strategic yet hands-on leader, equally comfortable setting direction and engaging in detail
  • You thrive in a global, fast-paced and matrixed environment, and can drive change across diverse stakeholders
  • You are an exceptional communicator, with the ability to build trust and clarity across functions, cultures and levels
