About the role:

We are seeking a Butler to provide exceptional, personalised service, creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. This role is for someone who thrives on attention to detail and has a creative approach to service. With an in-depth knowledge of hotel and property facilities and a keen eye for cleanliness, you’ll ensure a flawless connection between the guest and the hotel, delivering memorable moments that set Rosewood Cape Kidnappers apart.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the ultimate source of information about all room features, hotel services and amenities, providing a thorough yet personalised orientation to all guests.

  • Build meaningful connections with guests, anticipating their needs and swiftly organising special requests like luggage assistance, amenities and laundry.

  • Expertly deliver all in-suite Food & Beverage offerings, ensuring seamless set-up, impeccable service, and a personalised hosting experience for every guest.

  • Effectively manage guest requests, ensuring timely, accurate follow-ups and resolutions to maintain a positive guest experience.

  • Collaborate effortlessly with colleagues across departments, ensuring seamless service and a unified guest experience.

About you:

The successful candidate must be passionate, well presented, possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) and most importantly, will go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver a true luxury experience for our guests.  

  • You have relevant experience (minimum 2 years) across all aspects of luxury hospitality experience.

  • A working knowledge of a Property Management system will be a distinct advantage

  • Experience managing guest itineraries and complaints 

  • You have a genuine passion for providing exceptional service, striving to create memorable and personalised experiences.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly multitasking while maintaining an unwavering focus on professionalism.

  • Your exceptional communication skills allow you to build strong, lasting relationships.

  • You are naturally intuitive, anticipating needs and always staying one step ahead to exceed expectations.

  • You are adaptable and resourceful, always finding creative solutions to challenges and ensuring things run smoothly.

    Due our private and remote location, you will need to have your own reliable transport. You will also need a valid working holiday visa or New Zealand work rights to apply.
