Role

We are currently looking for a Senior Sous Chef – Mirror Room to join our leadership team at Rosewood London. The Senior Sous Chef – Mirror Room reports directly to the Executive Sous Chef and is responsible for overseeing all culinary areas of the Mirror Room.

Key expectations of this role

• Acting as a coach and mentor to a team of up to 10 associates to ensure high engagement levels, people development and associate retention to strengthen the company culture.
• Managing food and payroll costs without impact on brand, or quality standards.
• Consistently maintains established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.
• Showing a sound understanding of the London upscale hotel dining environment. 
• Proactively attracting and selecting talent for the department in line with company procedures and culture.

Profile

• The ability to demonstrate leading and developing people effectively.
• Proven culinary skills in an upscale and refined dining environment.
• The ability to build strong relationships with all the floor team in the Mirror Room.
• A good understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
