We have accommodation options available and can also accommodate couples or small groups if everyone has hospitality experience. Our seasonal teams are fun and made up of a diverse mix of people of all ages and nationalities.

This position will start in October/November 2024 and continue through the summer season until April 2025

What you will do:
The kitchen is where the magic happens in our Luxury Lodge - and you can be part of that! We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchenhand to join our team. The right applicant must be self motivated, a team player and work well in a high pressure environment. Duties include:

  • keeping the kitchen clean and completing daily tasks as per cleaning roster
  • washing up of all pots, pans and dishes
  • basic food preparation & storing of delivery’s as required by shift leader
  • And ensuring that health, safety and hygiene is maintained at the highest possible level.
What you will bring:
We are looking for a self starter and excellent team player who can demonstrate:

  • A basic knowledge of all areas of the kitchen
  • The ability to think on your feet to support the busy kitchen team and cater to our changing guest needs
  • Good time management.
  • Flexible and willing and able to work evenings and weekends.

Due our private and remote location, you will need to have your own reliable transport. You will also need a valid working holiday visa or New Zealand work rights to apply.
