The Chancery Rosewood - opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

We’re looking for a Pastry Sous Chef to bring expertise and artistry to our pastry kitchen. Working alongside the Head Pastry Chef, you’ll lead the team in delivering exceptional pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring flavour, texture, and presentation are always at their peak.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Pastry Chef in leading the pastry team, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
• Develop and execute seasonal pastry menus, balancing creativity with consistency.
• Oversee preparation, production, and presentation, ensuring every detail meets five-star standards.
• Train and mentor the pastry team, fostering a culture of precision and excellence.
• Manage inventory, cost control, and quality assurance, ensuring sustainability and efficiency.

About You:

• Experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef de Partie in a high-end kitchen.
• A deep understanding of classic and contemporary pastry techniques.
• A passion for seasonal ingredients, innovation, and fine detail.
• Strong leadership and training skills, with a hands-on approach.
• A calm and organised mindset, thriving in fast-paced service environments.
