OVERVIEW

 

At Rosewood Red Sea, the Restaurant Manager for the contemporary Asian, Japanese-inspired restaurant leads a refined, social and high-energy dining experience built around sharing, precision, atmosphere and elevated poolside hospitality.

This opportunity requires a polished restaurant leader with experience in contemporary Asian or Japanese-inspired dining, premium beverage culture and lifestyle resort service. The environment requires energy and confidence, but also control, accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will maintain a strong floor presence, lead service with confidence and create an experience that feels relaxed, stylish and highly controlled at the same time.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·       Lead the daily operation of the assigned restaurant in line with Rosewood, Forbes and LQA standards.

·       Maintain strong floor presence during all service periods, with close attention to pacing, ambiance, seating flow and guest engagement.

·       Ensure service delivery reflects the concept, including contemporary Asian sharing style, refined casual luxury and elevated adult poolside energy.

·       Coordinate closely with Culinary and Beverage teams to maintain food timing, presentation, beverage pairing and concept consistency.

·       Maintain control of reservations, table allocation, guest preferences, VIP arrangements and special requests.

·       Conduct daily pre-service briefings and operational checks to ensure complete readiness.

·       Handle guest feedback and service recovery with urgency, confidence and discretion.

·       Drive upselling, average check performance and revenue awareness without compromising guest comfort.

·       Train and coach associates on menu knowledge, beverage confidence, service sequence, guest recognition and luxury poolside service expectations.

·       Maintain outlet cleanliness, mise en place, collateral, furniture, equipment and presentation standards at all times.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

·       Minimum 3 to 5 years of Food and Beverage experience, including restaurant management experience in luxury hotels, resorts or high-end standalone restaurants.

·       Experience in contemporary Asian, Japanese, sushi style environments is highly preferred.

·       Strong understanding of sharing-style service, table pacing, premium casual luxury and lifestyle dining energy.

·       Knowledge of Asian beverages, cocktails and food pairing is an advantage.

·       Ability to manage a vibrant operation while maintaining discipline, accuracy and service refinement.

·       Strong floor leadership, guest engagement and team coaching skills.

·       Commercial awareness with understanding of revenue, average check, labor control and cost discipline.

·       Pre-opening or destination resort experience is highly preferred.
